The core does the insulating and the skin takes the weather, which is why it holds up the way it does. It will not swell in winter, it will not rot, and it does not need repainting. A door gets looked at far more closely than a window. Windows are judged from the pavement, a door from two feet away by somebody standing on your step. So panel arrangement, the proportion of glass to solid, colour and ironmongery all matter more here than the specification sheet does. Multi-point locking comes as standard, and where security is a priority we can specify a high security cylinder rated to the current standards. We have a wide range of composite doors to choose from, including traditional and contemporary panel styles, cottage styles for rear and country entrances, decorative, obscured and sandblasted glazing, side lights and fanlights, and a broad choice of colours and ironmongery finishes. Get in touch and we will talk you through what is available. ![Badges](https://mullionandco.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Badges.png?width=300&height=63&name=Badges.png "Badges") [![Central Stack\_Mullion Light](https://mullionandco.com/hubfs/Central%20Stack_Mullion%20Light.svg "Central Stack_Mullion Light")](https://mullionandco.com?hsLang=en) 01642 989 754 · 0191 359 2692 [hello@mullionandco.com](mailto:hello@mullionandco.com)   Based in Middlesbrough.
