French Doors / Sliding Patio Doors

Two ways of opening the back of the house up. Which one suits comes down to the space you have.

Most people arrive knowing which they want. Where it is worth a conversation is the space around the opening. French doors need somewhere to swing, which a narrow galley kitchen or a small courtyard often does not have. Sliders need none, but on a standard two panel arrangement half the opening clears rather than all of it. We will look at the room as well as the opening before recommending either.

Both come with multi-point locking as standard. Sliding doors are available in two, three and four panel arrangements depending on the width of the opening, with low threshold options where step-free access matters. French doors take Georgian bars and matching side lights where the house calls for them.

We have a range of French and sliding patio doors to choose from, with a choice of colours and woodgrain finishes, glazing and threshold options, panel configurations, and different colours inside and out. Get in touch and we will come and look at the opening before recommending anything.
